Please note, if ordering a second set of recycling bins (with the intention of putting out two lots of recycling bins for collection) a second targeted rate @ $185.89/annum will be triggered for your property. If you need a second landfill bin the $8 PAYT tag will cover the cost of collection, disposal, etc. There is an additional fee for additional landfill bins.
Rubbish Services
Assisted Kerbside Collection
If you can't manage to put the bins out yourself. The contractor will collect all bins (landfill, recycling, glass and food scraps) off the property and return them to the same place. This service will cost $60.00 per house per year in addition to the targeted rate.
Put Back Kerbside
Ideal for bach or absent owners. The bins must be placed at the kerbside and after collection our contractor will place your bins (landfill, recycling, glass and food scraps) inside the property boundary. The service will cost $30.00 per house per year in addition to the targeted rate.
Recycling and Rubbish Collection from Private Property (Multi-Unit Dwellings)
Property managers of multi-unit dwellings on private property, request for rubbish and recycling collection by Hauraki District Council and their approved contractors.
