E-Waste
What is E-Waste and what can be done with it?
Electronic devices and appliances you need to dispose of, is called e-waste. This includes everything from laptops, smartphones, and tablets to household appliances like vacuums and microwaves. Essentially, if an item plugs into an electrical outlet or contains circuit boards or chips, it’s considered e-waste.

E-waste can be recycled at our Paeroa and Waihī Transfer Stations. By taking your old electronics to these facilities, you help ensure they are processed safely and sustainably.
