Fees for Dogs and Other Animals

Registration Fees 2026/27

Dog registration fees cover one year from 1 July until 30 June. The following fees apply from 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027.

* Responsible Owner Licences (ROL) applications are accepted from 1 June to 15 July each year. Failure to register your dog by 31 July of any year will disqualify your ROL.

* The fee for the pig category is recommended to be significantly higher because of the potential damage that could be caused to the pound facilities.
