Rates and Water Accounts may be paid by Internet or Telephone Banking.
You will need to set up a separate payment for each Rates Assessment or Water Billing Account you hold to ensure the payment is credited to the correct account, e.g. if you have two or more water billing accounts or two or more rateable properties you will need to set up a payment for each one using separate details as outlined below.

Rates Payments
Please submit the following details when setting up a rates payment by Internet or Telephone Banking:
Enter your surname
Enter 02 (000002 for BNZ customers) - followed by your Assessment Number eg 02-12345. You will find your assessment number on your Rates Invoice.
Enter your Valuation Number as it appears on your rates invoice e.g. 12345/678.90
Water Account Payments
Please submit the following details when setting up a water account payment by Internet or Telephone Banking:
(You will find the details you require on the reverse side of your Water Rates Bill)
Enter your surname
Enter 03- followed by your Account number from the top left of your Water Rates Tax Invoice.
Enter your Valuation Number as it appears on the top left of your Water Rates Tax Invoice, e.g. 12345/678.90
