Waste Management NZ Limited has lodged a resource consent with the Hauraki District Council and Waikato Regional Council for consent to establish, operate and maintain a Landfill Site, known as Tirohia Landfill Phase C, for the collection of approximately 3 million cubic metres of waste over an area of 15ha, including extension and continued operation of a renewable energy plan utilising landfill gas.

(a) adversely affects the environment; and
(b) does not relate to trade competition or the effects of trade competition.

You must serve a submission on Waste Management NZ Limited whose address for service is 318 East Tamaki Road, East Tamaki, 2013, Auckland as soon as reasonably practicable after serving your submission on Waikato Regional Council and/or the Hauraki District Council.
Waikato Regional Council are the lead authority for the processing of all documentation for the Tirohia hearing including the Councils evidence, applicants evidence and the submitters evidence.
