Freedom Camping Bylaw

Pursuant to Section 157 of the Local Government Act 2002, notice is hereby given that the following amendments were made to the Hauraki District Council Consolidated Bylaw and were adopted by the Hauraki District Council on 17 December 2014, and will come into effect on 2 January 2015:

  • Schedule 11: Restricted Sites for Freedom Camping of Part 3 (Public Safety) was amended to remove two sites from the Schedule.

The Hauraki District Council Consolidated Bylaw can be viewed at the libraries and Council offices in
Ngatea, Paeroa and Waihi or on Council’s website

A copy can be obtained by calling 07 862 8609 or 0800 734 834 (from within the District).
