Due to an internal promotion we are looking for a real superstar who can assist with the promotion of economic development and play a key role in Council’s Economic Development strategy. You will enjoy using your talent and skills to actively contribute to the economic landscape, creating positive change for the community now, and into the future.

Using your relevant business qualification and real world experience, you will be conversant in the “language of business” and have the ability to build relationships which inspire confidence and mutual trust across a variety of stakeholder groups.

Your success will also be recognised by your ability to accomplish the following:

  • Investigate investment opportunities and develop business cases to support decision making
  • Promote tourism investment opportunities
  • Prepare well researched reports for Council
  • Provide case management for investors and developers
