Intended Agri-Chemical Application

Weather permitting, herbicide applications will be made to property administered by Hauraki District Council. This will include parks and reserves, footpaths and walkways. Both Roundup and Versatill will be used from 9 October 2017 to 31 January 2018.

This work will be carried out by either Hauraki District Council’s C&M Department, contractors or Waihi Walkways. All applicators will be Grow safe accredited.

Hauraki District Council invites tenders for the grazing of land at locations in the Hauraki District as listed below:

  • Waihi Cemetery undeveloped area
    5,000m2 grazing
  • Tauranga Road Recreation Reserve
    8.5313ha, Section 68 Blk XVI Ohinemuri Survey District
  • Tauranga Road Recreation Reserve
    7.0659ha, Section 68 Blk XVI Ohinemuri Survey District
  • Abbatoir Road, Turua
    4.4 ha, Ptn Lot 17 DPI1533
  • Frankton Road, Waihi
    11.4 ha, Lot 1 DPS 87448

The area of land for grazing as tabled above. The term of the lease is 2 years with 2 year right of renewal total 4 year term starting from 1 December 2017.
