Pursuant to Section 46 of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987, public notice is hereby given that:

The Thames Valley Combined Civil Defence Emergency Management Committee meeting will be held on Thursday 5 April 2018, at 10:00 am at the Hauraki District Council Chambers, 1 William Street, Paeroa.


Proposed Temporary Road Closure

Pursuant to the Section 11(e) of the Tenth Schedule of the Local Government Act 2002, notice is hereby given that for the purpose of a Motorsport Hillclimb event organised by Thames Valley Car Club it is intended to close the following roads to ordinary vehicular traffic for the period indicated hereunder. During the proposed period of closure provision will be made for ordinary vehicular traffic, which would otherwise use the road, to use alternative routes.

Period of closure: Sunday 13 May 2018,
9:00am to 5.00pm

Roads to be closed:
Pukewera Rd WAIHI – from 132 to intersection Taieri Rd. 
Taieri Rd - from intersection of Pukewera to end.

Alternative provision for ordinary vehicular traffic will be made with signs, cones and barriers to redirect traffic on detour.

It will be an offence under the above regulations for any person otherwise than under authority of an authorised permit to use the road for ordinary vehicular traffic during the proposed period of closure.
