We Need To Talk About Bylaws
We’re seeking feedback on the review of several bylaws including our draft:
- Solid Waste Bylaw 2019
- Water Supply Bylaw 2019, and
- Drainage Bylaw 2019.
The review process also includes the proposed revocation of the Franklin District Council Waste Bylaw 2009 and Water Supply Bylaw 2008 that are still in place for the Kaiaua Coast area. Our proposals for each draft bylaw, including what’s changing and why, are available on our website and at our offices in Ngatea, Paeroa and Waihi. The proposals also include more information about how you can have your say.
We’re asking for your written feedback from Friday 28 June 2019 to 4.30pm on Monday 29 July 2019. You can also provide verbal feedback during this time by giving us a call or speaking to a councillor. Another opportunity for you to speak is at a hearing of feedback starting at 11am on Wednesday 14 August 2019 in the Hauraki District Council Chambers, Paeroa.
