Wharekawa Coast 2120
Looking Ahead

Ko te pae tata, whakamaua kia tīnā, Ko te pae tawhiti, whaia kia tata

At our first workshop in November last year, you shared your thoughts on what you love about your place and the things you’re not so keen on.

Since then, we’ve appointed a community panel (based on your nominations) who’ve been busy learning more about hazards in the area and what this means for the future. They’ve also been on a field trip and found lots of places where improvements could be made.

You know your community best – thanks for sharing your local knowledge.

Upcoming community meeting

The planned Wharekawa Coast 2120 community catch up on Sunday 16 August, has been postponed with an alternative date to be decided.

We need more time to prepare for the community catch-up in light of a request from the Community Panel for some specific information. Keep an eye out for a new date.
