Deemed Permitted Activities
Permitted Boundary Activities
A Permitted Boundary Activitymay be applied for when you want to build a structure that will be closer to your neighbour than the District Plan rules allow, e.g. within the side or rear (other) yard requirement or through the daylight control/daylighting envelope.
Note:
- It cannot be applied for if the adjoining land is public - e.g. roads, reserves, crown land.
- It cannot be applied for if your proposal requires a resource consent under any other District Plan rule.
