Alpha one is moving to Objective Build
From 5pm tonight, Hauraki District Council's building consent platform Alpha one is changing to Objective Build. This change means that anyone submitting building consents will now only require one login for multiple councils.
What is Objective Build?
Objective Build is an online building consents system, designed to create consistency, transparency, quality and efficiencies into your building consent application. The online system will allow you to create, submit, track and manage your building consents all in one place.
In order for a smooth transition, here are a few important things to know:
- After the 'go live' launch, you may need to re-register on Objective Build unless you have recently lodged a consent with Tauranga City, Waitomo or Western Bay of Plenty or any other Council currently using Objective Build.
- All Hauraki District Council consents in the Alpha one system will be transferred to Objective Build over the weekend. You will be reconnected, once you sign up to Objective Build, using the same email address used for Alpha one.
- You will still be able to log into Alpha one and access draft consents for the next 30 days.
How to Register
Register at build.objective.com and set a username and password (this is where you need to use your existing Alpha one log on email address).
Objective Build has many new features including updated status tracking, organisation management, templated applications and more. There are regular online sessions available to familiarise yourself with the system. Headline online to register.
