Road closure: Norwood Road, Paeroa entrance at Thames Road (SH26) Intersection

While Hauraki District Council are not involved with this work, we wanted to make you aware that the civil works for the Racecourse Subdivision are progressing, with the next stage requiring closure of the Norwood Road entrance at Thames Road for approximately 15 weeks from 8 June 2026.
Access to Norwood Road will be maintained via a temporary detour through Claremont Ave. Construction of the new roundabout is expected to be completed by November 2026. Work will generally occur weekdays between 7:00am and 5:30pm, with occasional Saturday work.
All activities will follow approved management plans to minimise disruption, while maintaining safe vehicle and pedestrian access to properties throughout the construction period.
