Pay your rates the easy way

Hauraki District Council (HDC) is launching Payble, a new rates payment tool on 18 May 2026.

Payble simplifies your rates payments with increased visibility and flexibility.

• See your property and water rates information in one place, updated in real time.
• Choose a payment plan that suits your budget
• Manage your payments easily, all in one place

Ways to pay

Your payments are in your hands. You can pay from your bank account, debit card or credit card, and pay in whichever way works for you

Flexible payments (recommended)

Choose weekly, fortnightly, or monthly payments. This option gives you the most control — choose your payment day, skip a payment if necessary, or pay ahead when you’re able.

Autopay

Set up to pay your rates invoice each year on the due date, 20 October.

One-off payments

Make a single payment at any time during the year. You can pay the full amount or make occasional payments as you go.

Payble information and support sessions

We are running drop-in sessions for Payble at the Waihī Library and Service Centre, Paeroa Library and Ngātea Service Centre and Library between 10am-12pm on the following dates:
