Mobile Trader Pilot
Hauraki District Council is excited to launch a new economic development initiative — offering mobile food and beverage operators the chance to trade from two newly consented sites at some of our district's most popular destinations.
The Opportunity
We're looking for coffee carts, food trucks and mobile catering businesses to operate from:
- Karangahake Recreation Reserve – a stunning gorge setting popular with walkers and visitors from across the country.
- Ōhinemuri Reserve, Paeroa – right next to the iconic L&P bottle, a beloved landmark attracting locals and tourists year-round.
Both sites draw visitors from Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Auckland and beyond, as well as international tourists. This is a real opportunity to grow your customer base and establish a regular trading presence in the heart of our district.
