Swimming Season
CLOSED
Our Waihī Pool has now closed for the 2025/26 season and will be open for the 2026/27 season in November 2026.
During the swimming season the Council employs lifeguards along with a supervisor to oversee the day to day operation of the pools.
Parents and caregivers are encouraged to dress babies and infants in ‘Little Swimmers’, which can be purchased on-site, so nobody has to worry about accidents.
Pool Inflatables
We provide large pool inflatables at each of our pools on particular dates, between 1pm and 3pm.
Activity on the inflatables is monitored by our trained lifeguards. All participants must follow direction of the lifeguards at all times, for safety reasons.
