Notice to Alter Stopbank Designation
Waikato Regional Council is giving notice that it needs to set aside land for a public work, or change an existing designation.
This may apply to land, water, subsoil, or airspace where restrictions are needed so the public work can operate safely and effectively.
The site this applies to
The site is the existing stopbank designation area. It is an 8.94-kilometre corridor along the western bank of the Piako River.
It runs from Pipiroa (SH25) to Ngātea (SH2), in the Hauraki District, Waikato Region.

Changing the stopbank designation boundary so it covers all of the stopbank infrastructure.
