Demolition of St James Presbyterian Church
The Presbyterian Church Property Trustees have lodged a resource consent with the Hauraki District Council for consent to demolish the St James Presbyterian Church at 76 Moresby Avenue, Waihī.

The church is scheduled in the District Plan as a Category A Heritage Feature (National or Outstanding Regional Significance.)
Demolition of a Category A Heritage Feature is a Non-complying Activity under Rule 6.1.5.6.
The application includes an assessment of environmental effects.

Any person may make a submission on the above application, but a person who is a trade competitor of the applicant may do so only if that person is directly affected by an effect of the activity to which the application relates that
(a) Adversely affects the environment; and
(b) Does not relate to trade competition or the effects of trade competition.
